It’s always good to start the day fellowshipping with Holy Spirit. As I was praying this morning, I heard Holy Spirit say, no matter what challenges we are currently facing, God has already provided everything needed by grace for us to be victorious through Christ Jesus.
Remember this, God created each one of us to be winners in life. The Bible says in the second part of John 10:10 AMPC, “…I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”
1 Corinthians 15:57 AMPC says, “But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Let’s look at one more scripture, Look at what the Word tells us in 1 John 5:4-5 AMPC, “For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?”
Are you victorious in life, or are you experiencing defeat, distress and fear? Many people today are not enjoying life. They are struggling everyday to survive. No one has to live in despair, or failure, God sent Jesus to bear our burdens and carry our pains. Jesus took our sicknesses, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him at the cross so we could be free. Through His death, burial and resurrection He enabled us to be victorious over this world, sin and death.
Be encouraged. If you are a born again believer, which means you have received Jesus as Lord and Savior, the Word of God says you already have everything you need to be victorious in this life. You are victorious over sickness, over lack and victorious over sin and death. Romans 8:2 TPT declares, “For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death.”
Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT declares, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.”
When Jesus is our champion, we are ensured the victory!
Faith is the answer! Faith in God, faith in His Word and faith in the power of God. We must also become witnesses of the life of faith mentioned in Hebrews 12:1.
There is power flowing to you from the throne of God and through faith. His power is working in you right now to bring victory over any circumstance that is contrary to the Word of God. The Bible declares, “God is able to do abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that is working in us,” (Ephesians 3:20.) Please take a few minutes and meditate on these verses. Let the Word of God saturate your thinking and you will begin to see the salvation (or victory and deliverance) of the Lord in your life.
If you haven’t made Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of your life and would like to, please say this short prayer. Father, I surrender my life to you. I confess Jesus is the Christ and He died for me, bore my sins on the cross and was raised from the dead to bring me newness of life. Thank you for giving me the abundant life that is promised in Your Word.
As God’s children we are created to overcome every challenge in this life through faith, regardless of what we see or feel.
We are victorious over this world through Christ Jesus!
Blessings
