Luke 13:10-13 KJV
And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
God cares about people. He cares about you, your wholeness and He wants you to be free from any bondage that has kept you from fulfilling your God given purpose and calling in life.
There are so many of God’s children who are faithful but are not being ministered too. They are bound by a spirit of infirmity. The story of the woman bound for eighteen years can be related to by many Christians today.
It says, “she could in no wise lift up herself.” Infirmity means weakness, without strength, an incapacity to do or experience something, an inability to produce results, a state of weakness or limitation, powerlessness.
This woman was powerless and was without strength and unable to lift herself out of that condition which bound her. Are you without strength? Have you found yourself in a situation like that? Have doctors told you there is no hope, that there is no power to free you from a debilitating sickness? Well the good news is that Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil and free you from all sickness and disease. It says in Romans 5, that when we were without strength, Jesus died for us. He paid the full price to free us from whatever is holding you from serving Him.
Say this with me, “Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for me, I receive your anointing which sets me free. I speak to this infirmity and command it to go in the Name of Jesus. I declare that I am loosed from any bondage that has attached itself to me. I thank you Jesus for delivering me right now according to Your Word.
If you prayed that, you are free from whatever was holding you captive. Now begin to speak words of healing and do things you could not do before. Tell others what great things Jesus has done for you.
Blessings
